Where and when should I come?

The walk will be held on Saturday 6 April 2019. The walk will begin from Jubilee Square at 10:30am. We will be walking down Jubilee Square then onto High Street, then to East Street towards Humberstone Gate.

What happens after the walk?

The walk will finish at Humberstone Gate near Charles Street junction, where the Human Values Concert will take place from 11am onwards.

It will be a 2 hour musical feast in different styles and languages. Musicians from different genres, from different faith and language backgrounds will be performing with one focus – the human values of Love, Peace, Right conduct, Truth and Non-violence.

Can I get family and friends to join in even if they haven’t registered?

Absolutely, just ensure you come before the start-time 10:30am and register on the spot for the event. The registration desk will be signposted.

Do I need to complete the full walk?

You are free to join the walk for as long as you wish.

Do I need sponsors or donations?

There is no entry fees for this Walk or concert and it is not associated with any fundraising activity. All it seeks is only your commitment to take charge and be the change you wish to see in the world around you. Our sole aim is to spread the message of human values, and ensure we as individuals take responsibility for our duty towards society and humanity.

What do I need to bring on the day?

You may wish to bring a small hand-held banner to highlight the value that you have chosen to represent during the registration. We also advise you to wear sensible footwear for the walk, and you may also need to wrap-up in warm clothing; and bring waterproofs as we can’t control the weather.
